A Lyle man and an Austin woman who was a passenger in his vehicle were injured in a three-vehicle accident on Highway 61 in Winona Thursday afternoon.

The Minnesota State Patrol reported that a 2000 Ford Ranger pickup being driven by 77-year old David Paul Kilgore of Lyle was northbound on Highway 61 and was making a left turn onto Gilmore Avenue at 4:11 p.m. Thursday afternoon when he collided with a 2013 Toyota Sienna being driven by 38-year old Ellen Renee Jewison of Winona, who was traveling south on Highway 61.  The State Patrol reported that the collision between the two vehicles pushed the pickup truck being driven by Kilgore into a 2007 Jeep Liberty being driven by 53-year old Gina Louise Cherny of Winona.

Kilgore and a passenger in his vehicle, 71-year old Joan Marie Kilgore of Austin suffered non-life threatening injuries in the accident, and they were transported to Winona Health for treatment.  Cherny also suffered non-life threatening injuries in the accident but was not transported to a medical facility, and Jewison and two passengers in her vehicle, 9-year old Claire Renee Jewison and 12-year old Lauren Emily Jewison, both also of Winona were all uninjured.
