The Rochester Grizzlies of the North American 3 Hockey League have announced forward Peyton Hart has been called up by the Austin Bruins of the North American Hockey League. This marks Hart’s fifth call up to the Bruins this season as he is set to join the team for at least Friday’s road game against the Chippewa Steel. The Bruins play the Steel twice on the road this weekend.

Hart, 18, has appeared in five games with the Bruins already this season. With the Grizzlies, he has 28 points (11 goals, 17 assists) on the season which is good for fourth on the team. The Delafield, WI, native is on pace to pass his point total from last season with the Grizzlies, which was 36. Teammates Logan Olson and Matt DeRosa have also appeared in games for the Bruins this season. Overall the Grizzlies have had 13 call ups to the NAHL this season.

The Grizzlies will take on the Wausau RiverWolves this evening without their captain Hart. On the season, Rochester is 5-0 against Wausau. Puck drop this evening is set for 7:05. All kids who wear their youth hockey jersey to the game get free admission. There’s also a post game skate with the Grizzlies. Saturday’s game is another Saturday Night Showdown sponsored by Sterling State Insurance Agency as the Granite City Lumberjacks are in town. The teams have split both games this season.
