Funeral announcements for 9/27/23

A memorial service will be held for Valeta J. Anderson, age 89 of Adams at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, September 29th at Little Cedar Lutheran Church in Adams.  Visitation will take place at the church for one hour before the service Friday morning.  Interment will be in the London-Deer Creek Cemetery in rural Northwood, Iowa.

 

A funeral service will be held for Michael J. Boettcher, age 77 of Austin at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, September 29th at St. Olaf Lutheran Church in Austin.  Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service at the church on Friday.  Interment will take place at Oakwood Cemetery in Austin.

 

A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held for Terry Bodensteiner, age 72, originally from Austin at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, September 29th at St. Augustine Catholic Church in Austin, with a luncheon following the mass.  Visitation will take place for one hour prior to the service at the church.  Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery in Austin.

 

A funeral service will be held for Avene Alice Nolte, age 101 of Adams at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, September 29th at Marshall Lutheran Church in Adams.  Visitation will be at the church for one hour prior to the service.  Interment will be at the Marshall Lutheran Church Cemetery .

 

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held for Raymond J. Tucker, age 71 of Dexter will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 30th at St. Finbarr Catholic Church in Grand Meadow.  Visitation will take place from 4:00-7:00 p.m. on Friday, September 29th at the Worlein Funeral Home in Austin, and will continue for one hour prior to the service at the church on Saturday.  Interment will be held in the Dexter Cemetery.

 

A memorial service will be held for Kent Lee Simonson, age 81 of Austin at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 30th at Westminster Presbyterian Church in Austin.  Visitation will take place one hour prior to the service.   

 

A Funeral Mass will be held for Adrian John Gerber age 96 of St. Ansgar, Iowa and formerly of Adams will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 30th at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Adams, with visitation at the church for one hour prior to the service on Saturday morning.

 

A gathering to celebrate the life of Donna Darlene Justice, age 91 of Austin will be held from 3:00-5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 3rd at the Clasen-Jordan Mortuary in Austin.  Interment will take place at Calvary Cemetery in Austin at a later date.

 

A private memorial service for family and friends will be held for Darvin Anderson, age 78, formerly of Austin at a later date at Oakwood Cemetery in Austin.
