Funeral announcements for 9/1/23

A Memorial Mass will be celebrated for Ryan K. Pickar, age 43 of Austin at 11;00 a.m. on Tuesday, September 5th at St. Edward’s Catholic Church in Austin.  Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Monday, September 4th at the Clasen-Jordan Mortuary in Austin, and will continue for one hour prior to the mass at the church.  Interment will take place at Calvary Cemetery in Elma, Iowa.  

A funeral service will be held for Doris E. Draayer, age 97 Austin at 11:00 a.m. Friday, September 8th at Red Oak Grove Lutheran Church of rural Austin.  Visitation will be held from 4:00-8:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 7th, and also for one hour prior to the service on Friday.  Interment will take place at Grandview Cemetery in Austin.

A graveside service will be held for Mary M. Stewart, age 90 of Austin at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 9th at Oakwood Cemetery in Austin.  

A private family gathering will be held to celebrate the life of Donald “Don” “Donald P.” Ralph Holmen, age 98 of Dexter, who passed away on Wednesday, August 23rd at his residence in Dexter.

Brian Donovan Carpetz, age 80 of Austin passed away on Saturday, August 26th at Mayo Clinic Health Systems in Austin.  In honoring Brian’s wishes, no services will be held.
