Funeral announcements for 8/7/20

A memorial service for Richard (Ric) Duane Murphy, age 64 of Lanesboro will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 8th at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Lyle.  Visitation will take place one hour prior to the service at the church on Saturday.  Due to COVID-19, they request that you practice social distancing and to please wear a mask.

A Graveside service for James M. Frandle, age 72 of Austin will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 8th at Oakwood Cemetery in Austin.

A private family memorial service will be held for Dale Duane Peters, age 90 and formerly of Austin.  Public visitation will be at the Clasen/Jordan Mortuary in Austin on Saturday, August 8th from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m.  Interment will will be at Oakwood Cemetery in Austin, with military rites provided by Austin Legion Post #91.  Social distancing and masks will be observed.  

A memorial service for Dean L. Thome, formerly of Stacyville, Iowa at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 9th at Visitation Catholic Church in Stacyville.  Interment will be at Visitation Catholic Church Cemetery.  Visitation will be at the church on Sunday for one hour prior to the service.  

A memorial service for Elizabeth “Lizzy” Hagen, age 60 of Austin will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 13th at the Clasen/Jordan Mortuary Chapel in Austin.  Visitation will be for one hour before the service.  Interment will be at Ft. Snelling National Cemetery.  

Private family services for Edwin “Ed” R. Harmon, age 88 of Austin will be held with Austin Post #91 American Legion in charge of military rites.  Interment will be at Grandview Cemetery in Austin.  Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 15th from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Clasen/Jordan Mortuary of Austin.
