Funeral announcements for 8/5/21

A funeral service will be held for Henry “Hank” Herman Freese, age 81 of Austin at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, August 6th at St. Olaf Lutheran Church in Austin.  Visitation will take place from 4:00-7:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 5th at the Worlein Funeral Home in Austin, and will continue for one hour prior to the service at the church on Friday.  Interment will be held in Grandview Cemetery in Austin, with military honors by Austin American Legion Post #91 and VFW Post #1216.  

A memorial service will be held for Carol Joyce Brekke, age 89 of Austin at 12:00 noon on Friday, August 6th at the Clasen/Jordan Mortuary Chapel in Austin.  Visitation will be for one hour prior to the service on Friday, with interment in Oakwood Cemetery in Austin.

A Funeral Mass will be held for Margaret M. “Margy” Voss, age 67 of Austin at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 7th at St. Edward’s Catholic Church in Austin.  Friends may call from 5:00-7:00 p.m. on Friday, August 6th at the Mayer Funeral Home in Austin.  Interment will be at Oakwood Cemetery in Austin.  The family requests that masks be worn at the visitation and the funeral.

A memorial service will be held for Russell Elsworth Vaale, age 95 of Austin at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 7th at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Austin.  Visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00 p.m. on Friday, August 6th at the Worlein Funeral Home in Austin, and will continue for one hour before the service at the church on Saturday.  Interment will be at Grandview Cemetery in Austin.

A memorial service will be held for Rachele “Shelly” Faye Nelson, age 57 of Austin at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 7th at the Worlein Funeral Home Chapel in Austin.  Visitation will be held for one hour prior to the service on Saturday afternoon.  

Funeral services for Sherbun Lee Roberts, age 86 of Austin will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, August 9th at the Clasen/Jordan Mortuary in Austin.  Visitation will be one hour prior to the service Monday morning, with interment at Oakwood Cemetery in Austin.
