Funeral announcements for 8/25/20

A memorial service for Margaret Ruth Blue, age 86 of Austin will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 26th at Westminster Presbyterian Church in Austin.  Visitation will take place one hour before the service at the church on Wednesday.

A graveside service for Frederick A. Cantrall, age 57 of Wells will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, August 27th at Oakwood Cemetery in Austin.  Visitation will take place from 12:45-1:00 p.m. prior to the service.  Military rites will be performed by Austin American Legion Post #91.

A memorial service for Randy Lyle Huffman, age 73 of River Falls, Wisconsin and formerly of Austin will be  held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, August 28th at the Worlein Funeral Home Chapel in Austin.  Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service on Friday morning.  Interment will be at Ft. Snelling National Cemetery in Minneapolis at a later date.  Military rites will be performed by Austin American Legion Post #91 and Austin V.F.W. Post #1216.

A private family graveside service for Harlan Stanley Thompson, age 88 of Austin will be held at a later date in Red Oak Grove Lutheran Church Cemetery of rural Austin.  

The family of Martin “Marty” Allen, age 68 of Brownsdale will be hosting a gathering for friends and relatives at a later date.  Marty passed away on Sunday, August 16th in Austin.  

Becky (Long) Ault of Austin passed away Thursday, August 13th at the age of 85.  Due to COVID-19 restrictions and to ensure everyone’s health and safety, the family has chosen a small service for immediate family only.

Steven Lavern Leidal, age 72 of Austin passed away Monday, August 17th at Mayo Clinic Health System of Austin.  No services will be held at this time.
