Funeral announcements for 8/20/21

A memorial service with full military honors will be held for LeRoy “Lee” Bonorden, age 77 of Austin at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 21st at Grace Lutheran Church in Austin.  Visitation will take place from 4:00-7:00 p.m. on Friday, August 20th at the Worlein Funeral Home Chapel in Austin, and will continue for one hour prior to the service at the church on Saturday.  A private burial will take place at a later date at Grace Lutheran Cemetery in Tripoli, Iowa, where he will be buried with his parents.

A funeral service will be held for Sherry A. Wells, age 74 of Austin at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 21st at Freedom Christian Fellowship in Austin.  Visitation will take place from 5:00-7:00 p.m. on Friday, August 20th at Freedom Christian Fellowship.  Interment will be at Grandview Cemetery in Austin.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held for Sharon Kay Smith, age 81 of Chattanooga at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 21st at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Adams.  Interment will be in the Sacred Heart Catholic Church Cemetery in Adams, and visitation will take place for one hour before the mass on Saturday afternoon.  

A funeral service will be held for Shirley M. Johnson, age 83 of Blooming Prairie will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 21st at the Community Lutheran Church in Geneva, Minnesota.  Visitation will take place from 1:00-2:00 p.m. prior to the service on Saturday afternoon.  Interment will be in Geneva Cemetery.

A memorial service will be held for Linda F. Harmon, age 84 of Austin at 12:00 noon on Sunday, August 22nd at the Clasen/Jordan Mortuary in Austin.  Visitation will be held on Sunday morning from 11:00 a.m. to 12 noon, prior to the service.  Private interment will take place at Grandview Cemetery in Austin.  

A memorial service will be held for Ione Clara Torine (Omodt) Johnson, age 95 of Austin at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, August 23rd at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Austin.  Visitation will take place for one hour before the service on Monday afternoon.  Interment will be in Grandview Cemetery in Austin.
