Funeral announcements for 8/11/21

A memorial gathering will be held for Michael “Mike” William Bell, age 77 of Austin from 4:00-7:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 12th at the Worlein Funeral Home in Austin.  Military honors will be provided by Austin American Legion Post #91 and VFW Post 1216.  A private family interment will be held at a later date.

Visitation will be held for John Gary Donahue, age 78 of Austin from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Friday, August 13th at St. Olaf Lutheran Church in Austin, with funeral services to begin immediately thereafter at 12:00 p.m.  Interment will be at Fort Snelling National Cemetery on Monday, August 16th.  

Funeral services will be held for Donald B. Hoban, age 100 of Austin at 11:00 a.m. Friday, August 13th at Christ Episcopal Church in Austin.  Interment will follow at Grandview Cemetery in Austin, with military honors to be performed by Austin American Legion Post #91 and VFW Post #1216.  Visitation will be held on Friday morning from 10:00-11:00 a.m. prior to the service at the church.

A funeral mass will be held fro Vernon G. Barry, age 95 of Austin at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, August 13th at St. Edward’s Catholic Church in Austin.  Friends may call from 6:00-8:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 12th at the Mayer Funeral Home in Austin, and also a half hour before the mass at the church on Friday morning.  Interment will take place at Calvary Cemetery in Austin.

A private memorial service will be held for Irene E. Yocom, age 87 of Austin on Friday, August 13th at the Worlein Funeral Home Chapel in Austin.  Interment will take place at Oakwood Cemetery in Austin.

A memorial service will be held for Thomas Richard Kipfel, age 79 of Austin at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, August 14th at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Austin.  Visitation will be at the church for one hour prior to the service.  Interment will be at Grandview Cemetery columbarium.  Our Savior’s Lutheran Church of Austin’s Facebook page will be live streaming the service.  

A memorial service will be held for James “Jim” Noel Wegner, age 91 of Austin at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, August 16th at the Worlein Funeral Home Chapel in Austin.  Visitation will take place one hour prior to the service.  Private interment will take place at Paynesville Cemetery in Paynesville, MN at a later date.  Military honors will be performed by Austin American Legion Post #91 and VFW Post #1216.
