Funeral announcements for 7/9/20

Private family services for Verona Butenhoff, age 80 of Austin will be held at the Clasen/Jordan Mortuary in Austin.  Burial will be in the Alden Cemetery in Alden.

 

A graveside service for Darlene Joyce Ulwelling, age 77 of Austin will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, July 10th in Dexter Cemetery in Dexter.  

 

A Mass of Christian Burial for Lucille “Lucy” Sophia Peterson, age 98 of Blooming Prairie will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, July 10th at St. Columbanus Catholic Church in Blooming Prairie.  Visitation will take place from 5:00-7:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 9th at the Worlein Blooming Prairie Funeral Home and will continue for one hour prior to the service at the church on Friday afternoon.  There will be a rosary service at 7:00 p.m. Thursday evening following the visitation at the Worlein Blooming Prairie Funeral Home.  Interment will be in St. Columbanus Catholic Church Cemetery in Blooming Prairie.

 

A Memorial Service for Joyce A. Lerum, age 74 of Austin will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 11th at the Mayer Funeral Home in Austin.  Friends may call one hour before the service at the Mayer Funeral Home.  Interment will be at Graceland Cemetery in Albert Lea.

 

Visitation for Conrad M. Muzik, age 83 of Austin will be held on Saturday, July 25th from 1:00-4:00 p.m. at the Clasen/Jordan Mortuary in Austin.  A private graveside service will be held for Dennis James, Matter, age 65 of Austin and formerly of Fridley at Grandview Cemetery in Austin.  A public Celebration of Life is being planned for a later date, and will be announced at that time.

 

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, a memorial service for Nathan “Nate” Sylvester Magnuson, age 88 of Blooming Prairie will be held at a later date.  Nate passed away Tuesday, June 2nd at Prairie Manor Care Center in Blooming Prairie.  

 

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, the family of Marcene Marene (Austinson) Pell, age 95 of Austin will hold a private service.  A gathering will be planned at a later date for family and friends, if possible.  Marcene passed away on May 24th at Sacred Heart Care Center in Austin.  

 

Due to COVID-19 protocol, a private family funeral service for Leslie Howard Jensen, age 102 of Mapleview will be held at the Worlein Funeral Home in Austin.  Interment will be in Geneva Cemetery.

 

Memorial services will be held at a later date for Diane M. White, age 76 of Austin, who passed away Thursday, May 14th at Mayo Clinic Hospital/ St. Mary’s Hospital in Rochester.  

 

Private family services will be held at a later date for Daniel B. Engelman, age 42 of Austin who passed away unexpectedly Friday, May 15th at his residence.

 

A memorial service for Evan Lewis Kersten, age 31 of Austin will be held at a later date.  Evan passed away at his home in Austin on Wednesday, April 8th.
