Funeral announcements for 7/5/23

A Memorial Service will be held for Gerald “Jerry” Arden Anderson, age 92 of Austin at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 6th at the Worlein Funeral Home Chapel in Austin.  Visitation will take place for one hour prior to the service.  Interment will take place in the London/Deer Creek Cemetery in Northwood, Iowa.

A funeral service will be held for Arnold William Ottjes, age 94 of Austin at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 6th at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Austin.  Visitation will be held at the church for one hour prior to the service Thursday morning, with interment at Oakwood Cemetery in Austin.

A funeral service will be held for Patricia Ann Hanson, age 55 of Austin at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 6th at the Worlein Funeral Home Chapel in Austin.  Visitation will take place from 5:00-7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 5th at the Worlein Funeral Home in Austin, and will continue for one hour prior to the service on Thursday afternoon.  Interment will take place at St. Peter’s Catholic Church Cemetery in Rose Creek.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held for Jerome “Red” Mullenbach, age 89 of Adams at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, July 7th at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Adams.  There will be a 3:45 p.m. Parish Rosary at the Adams Funeral Home on Thursday, July 6th with visitation following from 4:00-7:00 p.m., and will continue on Friday morning at the Adams Funeral Home from 9:30-10:30 a.m.  Interment will take place at Sacred Heart Catholic Church Cemetery in Adams, with the Adams American Legion Post #146 in charge of military rites.

A Celebration of Life for Milton Herbert Anderson, age 65 of Austin will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 8th at Lavinda’s home at 1802 1st Avenue SE in Austin.  Milton’s cremated remains will be interred at sea in a Naval service in the Pacific Ocean.  

A Celebration of Life for William (Bill) Rugg, age 85 of Austin will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 8th at the Clasen-Jordan Mortuary in Austin, with a reception to follow.  Interment will take place at Greenwood Cemetery.

A memorial mass for Rita Marie Sheimo, age 85 of Austin will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 12th at Queen of Angels Catholic Church in Austin.  Visitation will be at the church for one hour prior to the service.  Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery in Austin.
