Funeral announcements for 7/28/22 UPDATED

A remembrance gathering will be held for Steve Bruce Richardson, age 57, a native of Austin at First Congregational Church in Austin on Thursday, July 28th from 5:00-7:00 p.m.  It will be an open house during this time, where all are welcome to come celebrate the life of Steve, share stories, and connect with his family.

A memorial service for Linda A. Delle, age 69 of Florissant, Missouri will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, July 29th at Worlein Funeral Home Chapel in Austin.  Visitation will take place for one hour prior to the service.  

Funeral services will be held for John LeRoy Munson, age 94 of Elkton at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, July 29th at Marshall Lutheran Church in Adams, with interment to follow at Marshall Lutheran Church Cemetery.  Military honors will be provided by the Adams American Legion Post #146. Visitation will be held from 4:00-7:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 28th at the Adams Funeral Home, and will continue on Friday for one hour prior to the services at the church.  

A memorial service will be held for Brooks P. Holton, age 69 of Austin at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 30th at St. Augustine Catholic Church in Austin.  Visitation will be at the church for one hour prior to the service on Saturday morning.  Interment will take place at Cedar City Cemetery in Austin at a later date. 

A funeral mass will be held for Frederick J. Bissen, age 102 of Stacyville, Iowa at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, August 3rd at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Johnsburg.  Interment will be at the St. John’s Cemetery.  Visitation will be at the Adams Funeral Home on Tuesday, August 2nd from 4:00-7:00 p.m. and at the church on Wednesday morning one hour prior to the service.

A Celebration of Life will be held for JoAnn M. Potter ,age 90 of Austin from 12:00 p.m.-3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 3rd at the Mayer Funeral Home in Austin.  Interment will take place at Grandview Cemetery in Austin.
