Funeral announcements for 6/29/23

A graveside service will be held for Darlene Ann Madson, age 84 of Austin will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, June 30th at Oakwood Cemetery in Austin.  

A funeral service will be held for June E. Oswald, age 98 of Brownsdale at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, June 30th at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Austin.  Visitation will take place for one hour prior to the service.  Interment will take place at Elk Creek Cemetery in Kensett, Iowa.  

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated for Constance “Connie” Susan Irvin, age 76 of Rose Creek on Friday, June 30th at 11:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Adams.  There will be a 3:45 p.m. parish Rosary at the Adams Funeral Home in Adams on Thursday, June 29th, with visitation following from 4:00-7:00 p.m., and will continue on Friday morning at the Adams Funeral Home from 9:30-10:30 a.m.  Interment will be in the Sacred Heart Catholic Church Cemetery in Adams.

A Memorial Service will be held for Gerald “Jerry” Arden Anderson, age 92 of Austin at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 6th at the Worlein Funeral Home Chapel in Austin.  Visitation will take place for one hour prior to the service.  Interment will take place in the London/Deer Creek Cemetery in Northwood, Iowa.

A Celebration of Life for Milton Herbert Anderson, age 65 of Austin will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 8th at Lavinda’s home at 1802 1st Avenue SE in Austin.  Milton’s cremated remains will be interred at sea in a Naval service in the Pacific Ocean.
