Funeral announcements for 6/22/20

A graveside service for Normal Jean Simonson, age 89 of Austin will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, June 23rd  at Bear Creek Lutheran Cemetery north of Grand Meadow.  

 

Visitation for Myron Leonard “Mike” Jordan, age 84 of Austin will be held on Thursday, June 25th from 3:00-6:00 p.m. at the Clasen/Jordan Mortuary in Austin.  Interment with military honors and prayers committal will follow at 7:00 p.m. at Graceland Cemetery in Albert Lea.  A memorial service at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church will be held at a later date with details forthcoming.

 

A service will be held for the relatives of Richard Lee Anderson age 72 of Austin at Cornerstone Church in Austin on Saturday, June 27th at 1:00 p.m.

 

A private memorial service for Lois Fay (Hemmer) Lewis, age 84 of Austin will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Sunday, June 28th at the Clasen/Jordan Mortuary in Austin, with a visitation one hour prior to the service.  Burial will be at a later date.  

 

A private graveside service will be held for Dennis James, Matter, age 65 of Austin and formerly of Fridley at Grandview Cemetery in Austin.  A public Celebration of Life is being planned for a later date, and will be announced at that time.

 

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, a memorial service for Nathan “Nate” Sylvester Magnuson, age 88 of Blooming Prairie will be held at a later date.  Nate passed away Tuesday, June 2nd at Prairie Manor Care Center in Blooming Prairie.  

 

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, the family of Marcene Marene (Austinson) Pell, age 95 of Austin will hold a private service.  A gathering will be planned at a later date for family and friends, if possible.  Marcene passed away on May 24th at Sacred Heart Care Center in Austin.  

 

Due to COVID-19 protocol, a private family funeral service for Leslie Howard Jensen, age 102 of Mapleview will be held at the Worlein Funeral Home in Austin.  Interment will be in Geneva Cemetery.

 

Memorial services will be held at a later date for Diane M. White, age 76 of Austin, who passed away Thursday, May 14th at Mayo Clinic Hospital/ St. Mary’s Hospital in Rochester.  

 

Private family services will be held at a later date for Daniel B. Engelman, age 42 of Austin who passed away unexpectedly Friday, May 15th at his residence.

 

A memorial service for Evan Lewis Kersten, age 31 of Austin will be held at a later date.  Evan passed away at his home in Austin on Wednesday, April 8th.
