Funeral announcements for 3/27/23

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held for Marjorie A. Oxley, age 93 of Rochester at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, March 29th at St. Columbanus Catholic Church in Blooming Prairie.  Visitation will be from 4:00-6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 28th at the Worlein Blooming Prairie Funeral Home with a 4:00 p.m. rosary prayer service, and visitation will continue on Wednesday morning for one hour prior to the service at the church.  Interment will take place at St. Columbanus Catholic Church Cemetery in Blooming Prairie.

A Celebration of Life for John Donald Welch, age 93 of Ellendale, and formerly of Blooming Prairie will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Friday, March 31st at the Worlein Blooming Prairie Funeral Home in Blooming Prairie.  Interment will take place at the Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery in Preston.  

A memorial service will be held for Donald r. Stilwell, Jr. age 80 of Austin at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, March 31st at St. Olaf Lutheran Church in Austin.  Visitation will take place from 4:00-7:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 30th at the Worlein Funeral Home in Austin, and will continue for one hour prior to the service at the church on Friday morning.  Interment will take place at Grandview Cemetery in Austin.

A private graveside service will be held for John Harlow Whiting, age 94 of Blooming Prairie in April of 2023, at First Lutheran Cemetery in rural Blooming Prairie.  Military honors will follow the service at the Servicemen’s Club in Blooming Prairie.
