Funeral announcements for 3/16/23

A memorial mass will be held for Donna Marie (Schocker) Kolbe, age 89 of Austin at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, March 17th at St. Augustine Catholic Church in Austin.  Visitation will be held at the Mayer Funeral Home in Austin on Thursday, March 16th from 4:00-7:00 p.m., and visitation will continue from 9:00-10:00 a.m. prior to the service Friday morning.  Interment will take place at Oakwood Cemetery in Austin.

Funeral services for Avalon E. “Lonnie” Murphy, age 100 of rural Austin will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, March 18th at the Clasen/Jordan Mortuary in Austin.  Interment will follow at Grandview Cemetery in Austin, and visitation will be held from 9:00-10:30 a.m. prior to the service on Saturday, March 18th.  

A funeral service will be held for Richard Loren Spinler, age 71 of Brownsdale at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 18th at the Worlein Funeral Home Chapel in Austin.  Visitation will be held from 1:00-3:00 p.m. prior to the service Saturday afternoon, with interment at Grandview Cemetery in Austin.

A funeral service will be held for Arvilla Evelybn Lovlein, age 102 of Austin at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 19th at the Worlein Funeral Home Chapel in Austin.  Visitation will take place for one hour prior to the service, with interment at Grandview Cemetery in Austin.

A memorial service will be held for Gwyn Lee Morse, age 61 of Austin at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, March 22nd at Grace Lutheran Church in Austin.  Visitation will take place one hour prior to the service.

A private graveside service will be held for John Harlow Whiting, age 94 of Blooming Prairie in April of 2023, at First Lutheran Cemetery in rural Blooming Prairie.  Military honors will follow the service at the Servicemen’s Club in Blooming Prairie.
