Funeral announcements for 12/13/22

A funeral service for Derek A. Placek, age 45 of Austin will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, December 14th at Grace Lutheran Church in Austin.  Visitation will be from 4:00-7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 13th at the Mayer Funeral Home in Austin, and it will continue for one hour prior to the service at the church on Wednesday morning.  Interment will take place in Grandview Cemetery of Austin.

A funeral service for Gary Arnold Groh, age 89 of Austin will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, December 15th at the Worlein Funeral Home Chapel in Austin.  Visitation will take place one hour prior to the service, with interment at Oakwood Cemetery in Austin.

Funeral services for Gwendolyn L. Volstad, age 73 of Austin will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, December 16th at the Clasen/Jordan Mortuary in Austin.  Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 15th from 4:00-7:00 p.m., and will continue for one hour prior to the service Friday morning. 

A funeral service will be held for Delmond Leo Kruckeberg, age 87 at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, December 16th at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Claremont, Minnesota.  Visitation will take place from 4:00-7:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 15th at the Worlein Blooming Prairie Funeral Home in Blooming Prairie, and visitation will continue for one hour prior to the service at the church on Friday.  Interment will take place at St. John’s Lutheran Church Cemetery in Havana Township, Claremont.  

A Celebration of Life will be held for Robert (Bob) Wayne Knutson, Sr., age 82 of Austin from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 17th at the Blooming Prairie Servicemen’s Club, with a brief time of remembrance at 12:00 p.m.  Interment will take place at a later date.
