Funeral announcements for 10/1/21

Memorial services for Merle Wilson McNutt, age 102 of Blooming Prairie will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 2nd at 1st Lutheran Church in Blooming Prairie, with a luncheon to follow.  Visitation will take place one hour prior to the service.  Interment will be held at a later date in Fairview Cemetery in Hayfield.  

A visitation/lunch will be held for Alan Arthur Clothier, a native of Elk River who passed away on July 13th at the age of 85 on Sunday, October 3rd at Red Oak Grove Lutheran Church of rural Austin, starting at noon with a funeral service at 1:00 p.m.  The burial will follow the funeral service at the Red Oak Grove Cemetery.  

A Celebration of Life will be held for Virgene Kaye Doocy, age 65 of Blooming Prairie from 1:00-4:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 3rd at Mike and Virgene’s house.  

Visitation will be held for Charles George Burke, age 82 of Brownsdale Sunday, October 3rd from 2:00-4:00 p.m. at the Worlein Funeral Home in Austin.  Funeral services will be held at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Sargeant on Monday, October 4th at noon with visitation starting at 11:00 a.m..  There will be a reception to follow in the fellowship hall. Interment will be in St. John’s Lutheran Church Cemetery in Sargeant.  

A graveside service will be held for Clara Vasey, age 83 of Austin at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, October 5th at Grandview Cemetery in Austin.  

A Memorial Mass will be held for Kenneth Christopher Stephan, age 89 of Austin at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, October 5th at St. Edward’s Catholic Church in Austin.  Visitation will take place for one hour prior to the service.  Interment will be at Calvary Cemetery in Austin.
