Funeral announcements for 1/6/21

Funeral services will be held for Reta M. Rohde, age 85 of Austin at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 6th at the Worlein Funeral Home Chapel in Austin.  Due to COVID-19 restrictions, the funeral home is limited to 57 people for the service.  Visitation will take place from 1:30-2:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home on Wednesday.  Interment will take place at Grandview Cemetery in Austin.  Masks, social distancing and all COVID-19 protocols will be enforced.  

 

Private family services will be held at a later date for Deanna Kim Neumann, age 63 of Austin, who passed away on Wednesday morning, December 28th at the Hiawatha Bel-Air House in Rochester.

 

Private service will be held for Diane C. Keenan, age 80 of Austin.

 

A private family service will be held for Eileen M. Burkhart, age 70 of Austin who passed away unexpectedly Sunday, December 20th at the Mitchell County Regional Health Center in Osage, Iowa.  A celebration of life will be held at a later date.  Interment will take place at Cedar City Cemetery in rural Austin.  

 

 A private family service will be held at a later date for Penni C. Wendroth Juarez, age 51 of Austin who passed away Thursday, December 17th at Mayo Clinic/St. Mary’s Hospital in Rochester.

 

A private memorial service will be held for Marilyn J. Nelson, age 86 of Lyle, who passed away Tuesday, December 15th at Good Samaritan Society in St. Ansgar, Iowa.

 

A private family service will be held at a later date for Lewellyn (Lynn) Ralph Hulst, age 76 of Austin, who passed away on December 11th.  

 

A Memorial Mass will be held for Jerry Daniel Allen, age 83 of Austin and Susan Allen, age 82 of Austin who passed away at her residence on April 12th at St. Augustine Catholic Church in Austin this spring or summer.  Details will be announced at that time.  Jerry passed away at St. Mark’s in Austin on Monday, December 14th.  

 

Private funeral services are planned for Davis W. Chamberlain, age 81 of Austin, who passed away at Comforcare-Good Samaritan Society on Tuesday, December 15th.
