Funeral announcements for 1/29/21

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, services for Doreen Romona Johnson, age 88 will be held on January 29th at the Worlein Blooming Prairie Funeral Home in Blooming Prairie for immediate family only.  An outdoor memorial service will be held at time of interment when conditions allow.  

 

A Mass of Christian Burial for Gladys Kane, age 86 of Austin will be celebrated at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, January 30th at Queen of Angels Catholic Church in Austin.  Visitation will be at the church for one hour prior to the service.  Interment will be at Calvary Cemetery in Austin.  The service will be live streamed at the Clasen/Jordan Mortuary Facebook page.  Masks, hand sanitizing, social distancing, and all MN Dept. of Health COVID-19 protocols will be followed.  

 

A private family service will be held at a later date for Michael Cerny Leathers, age 36 of Woodbury, and formerly of Austin who passed away unexpectedly at his parents home on Sunday, January 24th.  A public visitation will be held from 4:00-7:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 30th at the Worlein Funeral Home in Austin.  Masks, social distancing and all COVID-19 protocols will be enforced.

 

Private family services will be held for Dan “Gundy” Edward Gunderson, age 72 of Austin on February 2nd.  A Celebration of Life will be held in June of 2021 at French Lake.  Interment will take place at Oakwood Cemetery in Austin at a later date.  

 

Private family services will be held for Lee Allen Ulrich, age 71 of Oakland, MN on Saturday, February 6th at the Clasen/Jordan Mortuary in Austin.  The service will be available for viewing on Sunday, February 7th at www.clasenjordan.com.  Interment is planned for 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, February 6th at Fairview Oakland Cemetery, and is open to the public.

 

A private family graveside service will be held for Lois M. Paulson, age 86 of Austin, who passed away Sunday, January 17th at Primrose Retirement Community in Austin.  A celebration of life will be held at a later date when COVID-19 restrictions are lifted.

 

Wilson Richard Bollinger, Jr., age 70 of Austin passed away Wednesday, January 13th at Mayo Clinic/St. Mary’s Hospital in Rochester.  No services will be held at this time.

 

There will be a graveside service at Oakwood Cemetery in Austin this summer for Sally L. Wilson, age 90 of Austin who passed away Tuesday, January 12th at Comforcare Good Samaritan Center in Austin.  

 

A Celebration of Life will be held this spring for Mary Jane Olson (Thorn), age 91 of Blooming Prairie, who passed away on Tuesday, January 12th at Good Samaritan Society in Albert Lea.  Interment will be in the Blooming Prairie Cemetery.

 

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date for Gordon “Gordy” Barnes, age 57 of Austin, who passed away on January 6th.
