Funeral announcements for 1/16/20

Funeral services for Robert E. Nelson, age 77 of Lyle will be held on Friday, January 17th at the Clasen/Jordan Mortuary in Austin.  Visitation will be at the Clasen/Jordan Mortuary on Thursday evening from 5:00-8:00 p.m. and on Friday one hour before the service. Interment will be in the Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery in Preston at a later date.

 

Memorial services for Brian J. Lestrud, age 47 of Hayward, Minnesota will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, January 17th at the Worlein Funeral Home Chapel in Austin.  Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Interment will be at Geneva Cemetery in Geneva at a later date.

 

A gathering of family and friends for Michael S. (Fritz) Falch, age 70 of Austin will be held from 10:30-12:00 noon and a lunch to follow on Saturday, January 18th at the Worlein Funeral Home Chapel in Austin.  

 

Funeral services for Sylvia Katherine (Schultz) Moen, formerly of Austin will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 18th at Westminster Presbyterian Church in Austin.  Visitation will be held for one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment at Oakwood Cemetery in Austin will immediately follow. Sylvia’s family will host a luncheon for her many friends in the Primrose Retirement Community Room at 1:00 p.m. Saturday afternoon.

 

A funeral mass for Mary E. Bendtsen, age 95 of Rose Creek will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 18th at St. Peter’s Catholic Church in Rose Creek.  Friends may call from 5:00-8:00 p.m. on Friday at the Mayer Funeral Home in Austin and also one hour prior to the mass at the church on Saturday. Interment will be in St. Peter’s Catholic Church Cemetery in Rose Creek.

 

A Memorial Service for LeMar Arden Nelson, age 87 of Blooming Prairie will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 18th at 1st Lutheran Church in Blooming Prairie.  A visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Saturday at the church. Interment will take place at a later date.

 

A Memorial Service for Gwendolyn “Gwen” C. Christenson, age 92 of Blooming Prairie will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, January 20th at 1st Lutheran Church in Blooming Prairie.  Visitation will be held from 9:00-11:00 a.m. prior to the service at the church. Interment will be in Hartland Cemetery in Hartland, Minnesota.

 

A Memorial Mass for Joanne M. Hansen, age 93 of Austin will be celebrated at 11:30 am. on Monday, January 20th at St. Augustine Catholic Church in Austin.  There will be a 2:00 p.m. CCW rosary on Sunday afternoon at the Mayer Funeral Home in Austin where friends may call from 2:00-4:00 p.m. and there will also be visitation one hour before the mass at the church on Monday morning.  Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery in Austin.
