A North Dakota man was arrested for burglary and terrorizing after allegedly threatening to kill a former co-worker who didn’t accept his Facebook friend request.
29-year-old Caleb Burczyk is charged with threatening Robert Thomas, 39, after Burczyk sent him a friend request and numerous messages, including one that said, “accept my friend request or I’m going to murder you,” according to court documents.
Police say Burczyk kicked in Thomas’ front door on Dec. 26th, and was arrested when family members called 911 to report a burglary in progress.
Authorities say the incident was captured on a home surveillance system.
Burczyk was released on bond. He pleaded not guilty and will appear in court to face the felony charges in April.
