AM 1480 KAUS wants to send you on a ‘bear’ hunt!
During the week of the Mower County Fair (Aug. 9th to Aug. 13th), we’ll be revealing clues to Bear’s location in Austin. The first person to use the clues to locate Bear will win great prizes.
Daily Clues
Daily clues will be revealed on air each morning after 7 AM, and posted here after 11 AM.
Monday
A new treasure hunt is now underway. Find our mascot “Bear” for a nice payday. A likeness of “Bear” is somewhere around town and we are hoping that soon he will be found. The likeness of “Bear” is metal not glass. One thing we know is that “Bear” loves tall grass.
Tuesday
If you are looking for “Bear,” look far and wide, to find the location of where “Bear” went to hide. he’s watching for traffic, foot, bike and car, look just off the hard surface, you will not go far.
Wednesday
A river runs through it, this much is true. Creek Stream, or river, the differences are few. You won’t have to get wet to find our friend “Bear,” but there is flowing water right over there.
Thursday
A bridge that crosses is very nearby, but “Bear” will stay dry even when the water is high. If you are familiar with Adele songs, you’ll find a big hint, to get close to the location of exactly where “Bear” went.
About Bear
“Bear” Alpha Media’s company mascot, blind in one eye, is a rescue dog that symbolizes our company’s Alpha Cares Initiative. A portion of the proceeds from this contest will benefit the Mower County Humane Society.
Prizes
