Faribault man sentenced to prison time in Mower County District Court for terroristic threats charge

A Faribault man who threatened someone with a knife in an apartment in the 200 block of 1st Street SE in Austin in February has been sentenced to prison time in Mower County District Court.

47-year old Kristin Manuel Arredondo was sentenced Thursday to one year and 11 months in prison, with credit for 245 days already served.

Arredondo pleaded guilty to a charge of terroristic threats for an incident on February 4 in Austin. The victim told police that Arredondo swung a knife at him during an argument. As part of a plea agreement in the case, charges of 2nd degree assault and misdemeanor drug possession were dismissed.
