Candidate for U.S. Congressional District 1 seat adjusting life and campaign during COVID-19 pandemic
The COVID-19 pandemic has changed all aspects of how we conduct our daily lives, including candidates running for elected offices in the November general election. KAUS News spoke with Democrat Dan Feehan, who is running for election to the U.S. House to represent Minnesota’s 1st Congressional District who stated that he, along with his family and everyone else in southern Minnesota are going through a hard adjustment period….
Feehan went on to state that he is also trying to make his campaign a source of information concerning the COVID-19 pandemic…
Feehan stated that his campaign has also shifted to trying to provide a sense of normalcy for people in southern Minnesota…
Feehan was the 2018 Democratic candidate for Minnesota’s 1st Congressional District in the U.S. House. He narrowly lost the general election to Republican Jim Hagedorn on November 6, 2018, after advancing from the primary on August 14th of that year. Feehan will be running against fellow Democrats Johnny Akzan, Ralph Kaehler, Mark Schroepfer, and Rich Wright in the Democratic primary for the U.S. House Minnesota District 1 on August 11th.
