A Brownsdale man who sold cocaine to a Confidential Reliable Informant, or CRI at a residence in the 900 block of 11th Avenue Southwest in Austin in March of 2018 has been sentenced to supervised probation in Mower County District Court.  

36-year old Jason Eugene Daniels was sentenced Thursday to five years of supervised probation and 40 hours of community service.

Daniels was arrested and charged in February 2019 and charged with felony 3rd degree drug sales for allegedly selling 2.816 grams of cocaine to a Confidential Reliable Informant. Daniels eventually pleaded guilty to a 5th degree drug possession charge.
