Brownsdale man facing charges of assault and malicious punishment of a child in Mower County District Court

A Brownsdale man who allegedly caused bruising on a five-week-old infant made his first appearance on Friday in Mower County District Court.

20-year old Zachary Andrew Paulsen has been charged with a felony for third-degree assault, child under 4 years of age, multiple bruises, a felony for malicious punishment of a child under 4 years of age, multiple bruises and a gross misdemeanor for malicious punishment of a child.

Paulsen’s next appearance in Mower County District Court is scheduled for December 26th.
