The body of a deceased male found last Tuesday afternoon in Grand Meadow Township has been identified as that of an Iowa man.

Mower County Sheriff’s Deputies and the Grand Meadow Ambulance Squad were dispatched at 2:55 p.m. on the afternoon of November 10th to the 69000 block of 260th Street in Grand Meadow Township for a report of a deceased male located in a ditch.

Sheriff Steve Sandvik reported Monday that the deceased male was identified as 67-year old David Warne Sutter of Waterloo, Iowa.  Sheriff Sandvik went on to state that an investigation into the cause of Sutter’s death is ongoing through the medical examiner’s office.  Sandvik went on to indicate that there are no apparent indications of foul play, or immediate concerns for public safety.
