Blooming Prairie senior Mitchell Fiebiger has been named to the annual Minnesota Vikings All-State Football Team.

Fiebiger, a 6-feet-2, 210-pound wide receiver/linebacker for the Awesome Blossoms was one of 32 players selected to the squad. Fiebiger helped Blooming Prairie go undefeated at 5-0 in the shortened 2020 season and the Blossoms repeated as the Section 1A champions. Due to COVID-19 there was no state tournament so the Blossoms, who were ranked No. 1 in the state in Class A in the final AP poll did not get a chance to defend their state title.

Fiebiger, who was the only player from Class A to be named to the team was a three-time All-District selection and averaged 20.1 yards on 29 receptions with nine touchdowns. On defense, he compiled 61 tackles, five tackles for loss, three sacks and one interception.  Fiebiger led Blooming Prairie in tackles for the last three seasons.

The Vikings named the team, which has been selected annually since 2002, in conjunction with the Minnesota Football Coaches Association.
