Blooming Prairie Awesome Blossoms girls’ basketball downs JWP Monday evening 67-35

The Blooming Prairie Awesome Blossoms girls’ basketball team was looking for win number seven in a r row Monday evening at home versus Janesville/Waldorf/Pemberton in a non-conference matchup, and Megan Oswald piled up 22 points, 15 rebounds and five steals to help lead the Blossoms to a 67-35 win.

Besides Oswald’s 22 points, Bobbie Bruns tallied 12 points, include two 3-pointers, five assists and four steals, Anna Pauly scored eight points, Emily Miller chipped in seven points, Ashleigh Alwes and Addison Doocy each tallied four points, plus Maren Forystek and Macy Lembke each score three points for BP, who saw 10 of their 12 players who saw action score in the win.

Blooming Prairie is now 12-1 overall on the sesaon, and 9-0 in the Gopher Conference.  The Blossoms are right back into action tonight in New Richland against NRHEG, with the varsity tap at 7:15 p.m.
