Blooming Prairie Awesome Blossoms boys basketball team remains unbeaten with 75-32 win over FBA
The Blooming Prairie Awesome Blossoms boys basketball team, the No. 8 team in the state in the latest Class A poll from the Minnesota Basketball News were looking to keep their record unblemished in a Gopher Conference matchup with Bethlehem Academy in Blooming Prairie Tuesday evening, and it was the Blossoms rolling to a 75-32 victory.
The Blossoms led 41-22 at the half, and Zack Hein drained four of BP’s seven 3-point field goals in the game for 22 points, Gabe Hein added 21 points, Brady Kittleson was also in double figures in the win Tuesday night with 17 points, Gabe Staloch added seven points, Jacob Pauly chipped in three points, Kolby Vigeland and Cooper Cooke each scored two points, and Bradley Boyd added one point in the win.
Blooming Prairie is now 12-0 overall on the season and 3-0 in the East Division of the Gopher Conference, and the Blossoms return to action in a non-conference game with Hope Academy in Blooming Prairie Thursday evening, with the varsity tip-off at 7:15 p.m. that evening.
