An Austin woman who sold 6.68 grams of methamphetamine to a Confidential Reliable Informant, or CRI  at a residence in the 900 block of 4th Avenue Southwest within 300 feet of Galloway Park on January 11th, 2017 has been sentenced to supervised probation in Mower County District Court. 

31-year old Stephanie Marie Navarro Renteria was sentenced Monday to five years of supervised probation for a felony charge of third-degree drugs, sale of a narcotic. She received credit for 76 days already served.

The charge was reduced from a felony for second-degree drugs, sale of methamphetamine in a park zone as part of a plea agreement reached on September 16th.  37-year old Samuel Michael Tanner of Austin, who was found to have also sold the drugs to the informant was sentenced to 75 months in prison. Renteria is also currently awaiting disposition on gross misdemeanor charges of second-degree DWI, alcohol concentration 0.08 within two hours, second-degree DWI, under the influence of alcohol, and two counts of child endangerment.  

Judge Jeffery Kritzer determined that Navarro Renteria must follow 23 different conditions while on supervised probation.
