Austin woman sentenced to supervised probation, jail time on felony firearm possession charge in Mower County District Court

An Austin woman who pleaded guilty to a felony firearm possession charge in Mower County District Court in late December of 2019 stemming from an incident that took place in December of 2018 has been sentenced to jail time, supervised probation and community work service.

27-year old Skylar Paige Stahl was sentenced Monday to five years of supervised probation, 68 days in jail and 40 hours of community work service for a felony charge of being a violent felon in possession of a firearm.  A 60-month prison sentence was stayed for five years if Stahl complies with the terms of her probation, and she was convicted on the charge in March of 2020.
