Congratulations to Austin senior Henry Tolbert, who was named Mr. Soccer for Minnesota in Class A by the Minnesota High School Soccer Coach’s Association.  Tolbert was the second Packer to be named a Mr. Soccer finalist, the first being Kevin Ortiz in 2018, and he is the first Packer to ever win the award.

Tolbert, who was third in the state with 24 goals and 13th in the state with 11 assists, was also one of three Packers to be named First Team All State along with teammates Andres Garcia and Casey Berg.  Garcia led the state in scoring with 32 goals and Berg faced 47 shots in 12 games and allowed only five goals for a .894 save percentage and a 0.45 goals against average.

Austin went 13-0-1 overall this season and claimed their fourth straight Big Nine title and their fourth straight Section 1A title with a 2-1 shootout win over Dover/Eyota.

Austin head coach Jens Levisen was also named Section 1A coach of the year.
