Austin Packers wrestling team winds up regular season at Faribault triangular

The Austin Packers wrestling team traveled to Faribault Thursday evening for their last regular season triangular, and the Packers fell to the host Falcons by the score of 58-24, and they were also defeated by Cannon Falls 42-22.

Head Coach Jacob Nelson cited outstanding performances from the Wilson brothers, as Lathan Wilson pinned #8 ranked Bo Bokman from Faribault, and he also scored a 7-3 decision over Calvin Singewald from Cannon falls. Garrin Wilson pinned Owen Schultz from Faribault, and he also downed Beau Zimmerman from Cannon Falls by a 5-2 decision.

The Packers will now prepare for the Section 1AAA team wrestling tournament in Austin at Ove Berven Gym on Thursday, February 17th, with the action starting at 6:00 p.m. that evening.
