Austin Packers gymnastics team falls to Byron 136.525-131.400 in Austin Tuesday evening

The Austin Packers gymnastics team played host to Byron in a non-conference dual meet at the Austin YMCA Tuesday evening, and it was the Bears claiming the top two spots in the all-around, led by Amber Roble with a sore of 36.000 to help claim a 136.525-131.400 win.

Hannah Fritz and Kiki Rodriguez were third and fourth in the all-around for Austin Tuesday night, with Fritz compiling a final score of 34.000 and Rodriguez finishing with a total of 32.950, and Fritz was third on the vault for the Packers with a score of 8.800, and she also claimed third place on the uneven bars with a score of 8.350.  Reese Norton claimed a second-place finish for Austin on the balance beam Tuesday night with a score of 8.450, and on the floor exercise, Rodriguez claimed second for the Packers with a score of 9.125, and Katelynn Klouse took fourth with a score of 8.625.

Austin returns to action Friday night at Rochester Friedell Middle School in a Big 9 Conference quadrangular with Rochester John Marshall, Rochester Mayo and Rochester Century, with the action scheduled to start at 6:30 p.m.
