Austin Packers gymnastics felled by Owatonna 137.225-128.225

The Austin Packers gymnastics team was on the road Tuesday evening for a Big 9 Conference dual meet with Owatonna, and it was the Huskies coming away victorious by the score of 137.225-128.225.

Ashley Myhre was third in the all-around for Austin with a final score of 32.175, and the Packers finished 2-3 on the vault with Kate Oelfke scoring an 8.6 and Myhre earning a score of 8.575.  Claire Raymond was second on the uneven bars for Austin with a score of 8.250, and Raymond was the highest finisher for the Packers on the balance beam as she took fourth with a score of  8.825.  In the floor exercise, Austin’s Maria Morey was second with a score of 8.875.

Austin returns to action Saturday afternoon at the YMCA of Austin in a Big 9 triangular meet with Mankato East and West, with the action set to start at 2:00 p.m.
