Austin Packers girls tennis swept by Mankato West 7-0 Thursday

The Austin Packers girls tennis team was in action at home at Paulson Courts Thursday for a Big 9 dual meet with Mankato West, and the Scarlets were able to earn a 7-0 win.

All of the wins for Mankato West were in straight sets with the exception of third doubles, as the Austin team of Natalie Haynes and Jadyn Moriarty took the first set from Hannah Snyder-Hanson and Ella Betters of the Scarlets 6-3, before falling in the second set 6-1.  Snyder-Hanson and Betters were then able to win the third-set tiebreaker 10-7.

Austin returns to action on Thursday, September 17th as they will play host to the Rocheser Century Panthers, with the action scheduled to start at 4:30 p.m.
