Austin Packers girls basketball team wins again on the road Saturday night versus Big Lake 59-37
The Austin Packers girls basketball team played their third road game in as many days to start the 2019-2020 season Saturday night against Big Lake in the Hopkins Tip-Off Classic, and Hope Dudycha poured in 20 points while Kyra Walters added 11 as the Packers pulled away in the second half for a 59-37 win.
Colie Justice chipped in 8 points in the win for the Packers on Saturday night while Elyse Hebrind added 7 points, Erica Lundberg tallied 6 points and Emma Dudycha added 5 points. The Packers led 31-26 at the first half break, but pulled away in the second half by outscoring the Hornets 28-12 on their way to the win.
The Class AAA No. 7 ranked Packers will seek another road win Tuesday night in Byron versus the Bears, with the varsity tip-off at 7:15 p.m.
