Two of the top teams in Big 9 Conference girls’ basketball were in action in Rochester Tuesday night as the Number 5 ranked team in Class AAA, the Austin Packers took on the unbeaten Rockets of John Marshall, and two free throws by Emma Dudycha with :50 left gave the Packers a two-possession lead at 50-46 and Austin went on to earn a huge road win 53-48.

Colie Justice led Austin in scoring with 20 points, while Dudycha wound up with 10 points, Kyra Walters tallied 7 points and Elyise Hebrink chipped in 5 points for the Packers, who led 28-20 at the half on their way to the win.

The Packers are now 6-1 in the Big 9 Conference, just a half-game behind 6-0 Red Wing and 8-1 overall on the season.  Austin is back in action Thursday night to cap off a three-game road trip at Byron against the Bears.  Tip-off is at 7:15 p.m.
