Colie Justice poured in 24 points, while Kyra Walters added 8 points and Hope Dudycha 7 to help keep the Austin Packers girls basketball team perfect early in the 2019-2020 campaign with a 61-55 win Saturday in Mankato agains the East Cougars.

The Packers outscored the Cougars 39-27 in the first half and held off an East rally in the second half as the Cougars outscored Austin 28-22.  Emma Dudycha, Olivia Walsh and Elyse Hebrink each added 6 points in the win for the Packers, while Erica Lundberg and Reana Schmit each chipped in 2 points.

Austin is now 4-0 overall on the season and 2-0 in the Big 9 Conference.  The Packers are back into action for their home opener at Ove Berven Gym Tuesday night versus the Albert Lea Tigers, with the varsity tip-off at 7:30 p.m.
