Austin Packers girls’ basketball rolls by Northfield 75-43 Thursday evening

The Austin Packers girls basketball team traveled to Northfield for a Big 9 Conference matchup with the Raiders Thursday evening, and senior guard Hope Dudycha swished three of Austin’s nine 3-point field goals and led eight Packers who scored with 21 points as Austin stayed unbeaten with a 75-43 win.

Besides Dudycha’s 21 points, her sister Emma also sunk three 3-pointers on her way to 16 points, Cassidy Shute also drilled three 3-pointers and scored 16 points, Reana Schmitt chipped in with 12 points, Ajiem Agwa tallied four points and Duna Oteng, Ruby Kvam and Olivia Walsh all scored two points apiece for the Packers, who moved to 8-0 in the Big 9 Conference and 10-0 overall on the season with the win.

Austin will be back in action as part of the Rochester Hoops Challenge Saturday as they meet St. Paul Como Park at Kasson/Mantorville High School at 11:00 a.m.
