Austin Packers girls basketball rolls by Faribault 84-25 Tuesday evening

The Austin Packers girls’ basketball team was back in action for the first time in a week at Ove Berven Gym Tuesday evening versus Big 9 Conference foe Faribault, and senior guard Hope Dudycha swished two 3-pointers on her way to 20 points as nine Packers scored overall in an 84-25 rout of the Falcons.
Austin led 54-3 at the half, and besides Dudycha’s 20 points, sister Emma drained three 3-pointers on her way to 18 points, Ruby Kvam was also in double figures with 10 points, Reana Schmitt tallied eight points, Olivia Walsh chipped in seven points, Cassidy Shute, Marie Tolberg and Kiru Othow all scored six points apiece and Gracie Schmitt added two points in the win for the Packers, who raised their record to 10-0 in the conference and 12-1 overall on the season with the win.
Austin hits the road for their next game Friday evening in a tough conference matchup with Rochester John Marshall, with the varsity tip-off scheduled for 7:30 p.m.
