The Austin Packers girls’ basketball team was on the road Tuesday night in the Big 9 Conference versus I-90 rival Albert Lea, and Colie Justice and Hope Dudycha were in double figures in scoring as the Packers rallied back from a 27-23 halftime deficit to win 53-47.

Justice led Austin with 16 points while Dudycha added 14 for the Packers, who worked their way in front late and, as they recently did on the road at Red Wing iced the game at the free-throw line.  Erica Lundberg tallied nine points in the win for the Packers, while Emma Dudycha added five points, Elyse Hebrink, Cassidy Schute and Kyra Walters all scored three points apiece for Austin, who moved to 11-2 in conference play and remain tied with Red Wing in first place as the Wingers were a winner a home against Mankato West Tuesday night.

Austin is now 15-2 overall on the season, and the Packers return to action Friday night in Northfield versus the Raiders.  Varsity tip-off is scheduled for 7:30 p.m.
