Austin Packers boys’ swimming and diving team takes fifth in 12-team Cougar Relays Saturday

The Austin Packers boys’ swimming and diving team was in a 12-team field Saturday in Mankato for the Cougar Relays hosted by Mankato East, and it was the Packers taking home 5th place.

Austin’s 4 x 50 medley relay team of Trey Meyers, Logan Kelly, Rafe Dolan Peterson and Aaron Knoll were first Saturday with a time of 1:41.04, while the 50 x 100 x 200 x 500-freestyle relay team of Thomas Walker, Joseph Walker, Trey Myers and Logan Kelly took fourth with a time of 8:26.75.  Congratulations to Austin senior Logan Kelly, who set a new Mankato East pool record in the 100-yard breaststroke with his time of 58 seconds in the 3 x 100-breaststroke relay.
