Austin Packers boys’ swimming and diving break two Big 9 Conference and a school record at Big 9 Conference Swimming and Diving Meet
The Austin boys swimming and diving team broke two Big 9 Conference records at the conference swimming and diving meet in Northfield on Wednesday and Thursday.
The Packer 200 medley relay team of Rafe Dolan Peterson, Logan Kelly, Trey Myers and Aaron Knoll broke a Big 9 Conference record when they took first with a time of 1:36.11 and Kelly set a new Big 9 record in the 100 breaststroke when he took first with a time of 56.55 seconds.
Dolan Peterson set a new Austin High School record in the 100 backstroke with a first place time of 52.61, and Riley Norton took first in diving with a final score of 340.05. Other high finishers for the Packers included Trey Myers, who took fourth in the 200 freestyle with a time of 1:47.30 and Logan Kelly, who was second in the 200 individual medley with a final time of 1:56.13. Dolan Peterson was second in the 100 butterfly with a time of 51.38, while Myers was fourth with a time of 53.97. Austin’s 400 freestyle relay team of Dolan Peterson, Knoll, Myers and Kelly were third with a time of 3:13.85.
Austin took 4th as a team in the meet, while 1st place went to Rochester Mayo.
