The Austin Packers boys’ basketball team was back in action Tuesday night at Packer Gym against the Rochester John Marshall Rockets in a Big 9 Conference clash, and Agwa Nywesh was a one-man wrecking crew with 36 points, three rebounds, three assists, three rebounds and seven steals to help the Packers to a 70-46 rout.

Nywesh helped key an 18-0 Packer run than spanned from the end of the first half into the second that broke open what had been a close game and helped Austin outscore JM 45-22 in the second half.   Ogur Gari tallied 13 points, three assists and four rebounds and Okey Okey added eight points for the Packers, who raised their record to 4-1 overall and 4-1 in the Big 9 Conference with the win.

Austin will be back in action again in the Big 9 Conference Friday night at Faribault, with varsity tip-off at 7:30 p.m.
