The Austin Packers boys’ basketball team, playing without leading scorer Emmanuel Manyoun due to a hip injury were in Northfield to take on the Raiders Thursday evening, and though they led 36-30 at the half, the Packers fell prey to a second half comeback in which Northfield outscored Austin 33-24 on their way to a 63-60 win.

Victor Idris put up an impressive stat line for Austin with 16 points, nine rebounds, four steals, three assists and two blocks, while Teyghan Hovland added 15 points, and Okey Okey hit two of Austin’s eight 3-pointers on his way to scoring 11 points for the Packers, Gage Manahan, Jordan Ransom and Junior Ledji all scored five points and Dieth Duop added three points in the loss.  Karsten Klay led three Northfield players in double figures with 16 points in the win.
