Austin man sentenced to supervised probation on felony drug sale charge in Mower County District Court

An Austin man who sold a total of 16.24 grams of cocaine to a Confidential Reliable Informant, or CRI on seven different occasions from November of 2019 to January of 2020 has been sentenced to supervised probation in Mower County District Court.

31-year old Vincent Johnny pleaded guilty to a felony charge of third-degree sale of drugs and was sentenced Thursday to five years of supervised probation, and he was also ordered to perform 80 hours of community work service. Johnny was also granted a stay of imposition in the case, which means the felony conviction will be reduced to a misdemeanor if he successfully completes his probation.
