Austin man sentenced to supervised probation, fines and restitution for felony criminal sexual conduct charge

An Austin man who pleaded guilty to a felony criminal sexual conduct charge in Mower County District Court in January of 2020 after sexually abusing a then 8-year old girl has been sentenced to supervised probation, fines and restitution.

39-year old Chad Allan Corporon has been sentenced to 25 years of supervised probation and just over $11,000 in fines and fees for a felony charge of 2nd degree criminal sexual conduct, victim under 13, actor more than 36 months older.  A 36-month prison sentence was stayed for 25 years if Corporon complies with the terms of his probation, and an additional felony charge of 2nd degree criminal sexual conduct, victim under 13, actor more than 36 months older and a felony charge of 2nd degree criminal sexual conduct, significant relationship, under 16, multiple acts in the case were dismissed with Corporon’s guilty plea.
